Yuck-o.

You know that feeling when you feel like you need to shit and throw up at the same time? Yeah. I feel pretty gross right now. I think it's due to all of the pasta I've been eating and also the pancakes I scarfed down at lunchtime. I literally grabbed a plate of four pancakes and they were gone in about seven minutes. I was SO freaking hungry though. But yeah, too many of those sweet, syrupy, buttery cakes of goodness and it's off to Bloat City. I feel so fat and disgusting. The green tea doesn't seem to be helping much either, as it only makes me more gassy. But it does really clean out the stomach, so I'll probably sleep it off or whatever.

Finally got my books from the library (YES!) Ugh. I was dying to get them. I haven't read in a while and the internet, video games, and TV get boring after a while. Nothing like sitting up in my warm bed with a hot cup of tea, and reading a book with the History Channel going in the background. Mmmhmmmm... Perfect evening. Especially when you're reading Anne Rice. Hellz yeah, bitches. I love me some vampires. Yes I do. (Translation: Don is awesome. Yes he is.)

Ahaha.. nice.

Did anybody else watch VH1's I Love The Millennium show last night? OH my gosh, it was so funny. I love that show and I'm totally addicted to it. In retrospect, the year 2000 was the shit. Seriously. Actually I think 1995-2000 were probably the best years of my life so far. (I'll probably change my mind in another year or so. We'll see.)

I'll be on a week long hiatus starting Monday. I'm going to visit family. :)

You've gotta try this!

Alright, I highly recommend Cover Girl Lash Blast Mascara. I just got it a couple days ago and I'm seriously about to throw out all of my other mascaras. I was iffy before purchase because a lot of products have false advertisements and claim that they're going to live up to what their product says it's going to, and they don't and you end up wasting your time and money. The brush makes ALL the difference, let me tell ya. My eyelashes are naturally curved and also a bit coarse. They also like to go in every which way they please to. It's not uncommon for most mascaras to make my lashes cling together and most products make them clump, and that's not sexy at all. The brush that comes with this mascara, really helped. It separates and thickens so that lashes look full and pretty, but not gross and un-natural. Ladies, this is a must, must, MUST buy!!! Especially if you have troublesome lashes. I also got Olay Quench Body Lotion. I heard a lot of raving before on this product, and decided to give it a try, especially since I've been looking for a body lotion to keep my skin in order. It tends to get twice as dry in extreme summer and winter weather. This lotion is really nice. A little bit goes a long way because your skin really drinks it up and it stays moisturized for a really long time. It has a pleasant smell and just a teeny-tiny hint of shimmer. And finally, here is a product I've been using for several months now. Herbal Essences Break's Over Leave-In Conditioner is my HERO! I dye my hair a lot and I also get it relaxed every two months or so. And then with all of the blow drying, curling, and straightening I do, it can really take a toll on my hair. My biggest problem was split ends and dryness. What's nice about this product is that you can use it on dry hair and on wet hair. I like to use it before blow drying my hair, just running it through from root to tip with my fingers. It protects hair really well from the heat. And sometimes I will massage a bit on just the ends of my hair before pulling it into a pony tail or whatever. I've definetly seen a huge improvement in my hair since using this product. No more split ends! No more dryness! And if you have that weird hispanic-type hair like I do, and you may be a little worried about using products that aren't necessarily geared toward your specific hair type, you have little to fear with this. It's a nice, creamy, moisturizing formula, but because it does have alcohol in it which can dry out our kind of hair, I recommend that you use an oil sheen spray of some sort with this product.

Does It Really Work?

Here we have a video of a girl testing out common beauty 'secrets' of using everyday kitchen ingredients as an alternative to beauty products. It's Do It Yourself Beauty! But the question is... does it really work? Let's find out.

Seo and Nasty Food in the USA.

Alright, I was on Ricoche and saw this photo of some Korean girl (apparently her name is Seo?) and she is dressed like Christina Aguilera from her music video Can't Hold Us Down feat. Lil' Kim. And DAYUM she looks almost identical to Christina in the video. If you haven't heard the song or seen the video, it's basically the anthem for women who are tired of men being disrespectful to them. Hell, I know I am! For some reason, I keep attracting assholes rather than 'nice guys'. And it's kind of starting to annoy me. ANYWHO! Craziness going on in the US. Gas prices are going sky high and there's been talk that speeding tickets will be bumped up a few bucks to help fill up cop cars during this time of economy crisis. Yeah, when I heard about this, I started thinking about this game that I used to play religiously called Urban Chaos. Darcy, the main character in the game who is also a cop, can interact with other people on the streets of her virtual world. One of the pedestrians said, "Hey. My taxes pay your wages, asshole." And it had me cracking up. There's been a massive salmonella outbreak in the US from tomatoes but it seems that the only place you can get tomatoes that aren't tainted with nastiness, is Arkansas. (WTF.) So farmers there have been making some major profit from their 'good' tomatoes as they are being purchased from people all over the country. Kind of makes you wish there was an alternative fruit for the tomato. Geez. It annoys me that our country just keeps fucking up. The Food and Drug Administration needs to do their damn job. People are slacking off to damn much in this time and age. Like my sister would say, "This is TOO real." What she means by that is that things are getting too serious to be bullshitting around so much. I agree.

Birds and more birds.

I just got done watching The Crow with my mom. It was her first time seeing it and she said that she really liked it. It's always fun seeing her sitting on the edge of her seat going, "OH SNAP. Get him! GET HIM! Ohhh maaan." And it's definetly nice that we're spending more time together just hanging out. I really love that movie, but the only thing is, I can't watch it without feeling slightly depressed afterwards. ._.; And I always get choked up at the end of the movie. Never fails. Happens when I watch Edward Scissorhands too, which is another one of my favorites.

Well, the kittens have been climbing my legs a lot lately, like I'm some sort of tree. Both of my legs are covered in scratches along with my hands and forearms. I'm having a bit of a hard time teaching them to stay off the tables and curtains. They've also been chewing up anything they come across. Anyway, hopefully we'll get them to the vet either today or tomorrow so that they can get their shots and all that jazz.

I went shopping both Saturday and yesturday morning. Got some really cute tops, jewelry, and some cosmetics. (I was running low on bronzer ^_^;) Pictures soon.

Forget the hiatus!

Alright, I think my page looks a little more decent now, so I'm gonna go ahead and do a real update post. Errr... something like that anyway. These are my kittens, Kaoru (Ruu) and Butter. They're only 9 weeks old. Both are very playful and social. But unfortunately they have a wee bit of a flea problem and because they're so young, it's hard to find products that can be used on them safely. But my mom went to the pet store and got some organic anti-flea spray and shampoo. They seem to be doing fine with that. And I've been keeping the floors, bedding, and everything else very clean so we don't have any infestation problems. ^_^ I think really the only problem with them is that they chew on everything. They both got a hold of my sister's new shoes and she was pissed. And Kaoru chewed up one of my USB cables. Thankfully, I have about three more of them. Kaoru also has a habit of sleeping on tables. ._.; I'm trying really hard to train her not to do that. And they both like to jump up on people and climb things. Anywho, I really need a new hairstyle now. I get bored with my hair so easily. The picture to the right is about a year old, but I really liked my hair color then. It was a bit orangey-blonde-red.

I may or may not dye it that color again. Ehh. I dunno, I might opt for a light brown instead with a few highlights. And of course I've gotta get more extensions for the big, curly hair. My bangs could use a little help too.
